1. How to divert a VoIP line to a landline or mobile number


With CRM and integrated VoIP you can divert your VoIP line to either a landline number of mobile number so that your VoIP line can follow you anywhere. 


To set this up please read our step by step guide below:


1. Go to the Phone icon along the menu bar:



2. Click on the Line Summary ringing phone icon as shown below:



3. Select the Configure option against your VoIP line you wish to divert as shown below:



4. This takes you to the Configure VoIP Number settings - here you have a Call Forwarding option - as shown below in red:

5. By using the Call forwarding feature as circled above in red you can divert your VoIP phone line to either a landline or mobile number.


6. Select the 'Transfer to number' in the Action box as shown below: 



7. Then enter the landline or mobile number in the Destination box as shown below in red:



8. Please make sure you enter either the landline or mobile number without any spaces when diverting your VoIP number.


9. Click on Update to save your settings. 


Please note that if you are diverting your UK VoIP line to a UK landline you will pay call forwarding charges of 1p per minute and if diverted to a UK mobile number you will pay call forwarding charges of 3p per minute. 


For international VoIP numbers that you wish to forward please contact our Support Helpdesk to find out call forwarding charges.


2. How to Divert your VoIP line to your voicemail:


1. Click on the Phone icon 



2. Click on the Line Summary icon 



3. Click on the 'Configure' button next to your VoIP line



4. On the Call Forwarding options - select 'All Calls'



5. On the Action drop down select 'Voicemail' as the option as shown above.


6. Click on Update to save


Your VoIP line will now be on divert to your voicemail  - where it will play your 'unavailable' message - the message callers here if the call is unanswered. 


Please make sure that you have not set your VoIP line to go to voicemail for the call forwarding options for 'On busy' or 'No answer' (as shown in the example below) as this does not need to be done as this is automatic if the call is not answered or the line is busy it will go to voicemail. 



The call forwarding option for 'On busy' or 'No answer' is to be used if you want to divert to a different number only by using the 'Transfer to number' option as shown in the example below: 





3. How to divert a VoIP line to a colleagues extension line:


You can divert your VoIP line to either colleagues extension number by doing the following:  


To set this up please read our step by step guide below:


1. Go to the Phone icon along the menu bar of your icomplete CRM



2. Click on the Line Summary ringing phone icon as shown below:



3. Select the Configure option against your VoIP line you wish to divert as shown below:



4. This takes you to the Configure VoIP Number settings - here you have a Call Forwarding option - as shown below in red:

5. By using the Call forwarding feature as circled above in red you can divert your VoIP phone line to a 6 digit Ext number for another VoIP line. 


6. Select the 'Transfer to number' in the Action box as shown below: 


7. Then enter the 6 digit extension line number in the Destination box as shown below in red:



8. Please make sure you enter the 6 digit extension number for your colleague without any spaces when diverting your VoIP number.


9. Click on Update to save your settings.
