Please check the mobile number has been correctly recorded against the contact's record and that it is marked as 'Mobile' and not recorded as 'Voice' as it must be shown as a mobile number in order that the SMS message be sent over out SMS platform, please see the examples below:
Please also make sure that you have completed the SMS origination field correctly with either a mobile phone number or a business name so that the recipient can either reply to the text or see who the text has come from.
To find the SMS Origination field please click on the Settings icon along the menu bar:
Then click on the Global Settings tab - please see below:
Here you will see the SMS Origination field - as shown above in red. Please enter a mobile number (without spaces) or your company name.
If adding a company name, please be aware there is a limit of 11 characters to display in the text message so you may have to shorten the company name to fit into the box.
If you choose a phone number then the person can text back to you but if it has just the company name they will not be able to reply.
Click on Update Settings to save.
