A STUN (Session Traversal of User Datagram Protocol [UDP] Through Network Address Translators [NATs]) server allows NAT clients (i.e. IP phones behind a firewall) to set up phone calls to a VoIP provider hosted outside of the local network.

Using a STUN server may be necessary if you experience router issues where you are unable to disable the SIP ALG setting - to allow VoIP traffic through.

To enter a STUN server address when setting up a VoIP phone line please enter the following:

stun.crmdomain.com

The above will need to be entered into the Gigaset Base/Desk phone web interface settings.

For the Gigaset Base Station please click here

For a Gigaset Desk phone please click here

Please note the above instructions are for White Fluffy Cloud CRM customers, whereby the VoIP settings are on our configuration platform.   If you require assistance please contact our Support Desk.
