If you cannot find a contact this can caused by a number of things which we recommend you need to check:

1.  Check you are have spelt the contacts name correctly in the contact search box.

2.  Try searching for the contact under the company name rather than their first/last name.

3. Check that the contact has not been merged with another contact in error – if you enter the email address inside the contact search but click on the email address option (see screenshot below) this should bring up any contacts that have the email address associated to it.

4. Now check in the History section that the contact has not been merged (it will put the merge details date/time in the history section).

If this is the case take a note of the contact record that the merge details are in plus the name of the missing contact and email our Support Desk as we can then un-merge the contact details for you which will restore the contacts record.

5. The contact may have been deleted – if you have tried all of the points above with no success then please let us know and we will check to see if one of your team have accidentally deleted the contact.
If this is the case then we can restore the contact for you.

If you would like the ability for the Admin Users to be able to restore deleted contacts then we can provide this functionality for the cost of £150 + VAT.

Please contact our Support Helpdesk if you are interested in having this feature.

6. The contact may have been marked as 'Spam'.  If you have a SPAM button set up inside your account then if this has been clicked it will delete the contact but it will also delete any history that may have been stored against the contacts record.

Although we can restore the contact record we will need to also restore any history activity too for a contact if the SPAM button has been clicked and also unblock the contacts email address.

Please contact us our Support Desk with the details of your contact.
