Yes we can port in mobile numbers in the UK which becomes a VoIP number that you can make calls from a headset and soft-phone on your PC or via a VoIP handset (please note you will no longer be able to make calls from you mobile as the number is no longer a mobile number).
We can provide you with a mobile sim if you need to use your mobile on the go and have call recording. Click here to find out more.
How does it work?
Porting in the number means we become your telecom provider but to make make calls you can no longer use your mobile and would need a headset and soft-phone on your PC or via a VoIP handset.
Who uses this sort of set up?
Many start-up businesses do this when they have relied on their mobile number initially to take calls/bookings etc. As they expand they still want to be able to receive calls in to that mobile number as they have advertised it everywhere.
Their clients can simply call the mobile number which will ring into them via VoIP handset or their headset (with USB cable) or just go straight through to voicemail where they can then listen to the call recording inside their CRM account.
This way mobile calls can be tracked inside your CRM account and associated to a contact. You can see all call logs, date, time etc associated to that mobile number centrally within your CRM account.
What do I need to do?
1. Contact our support desk to advise the mobile number and mobile provider details.
2. We will check that we are able to port in your mobile number from your provider.
What is the cost to port the mobile number?
It costs £10 to port and then £9 per month for the line in your CRM account plus any calls you make via your VoIP handset/headset will be 1p a minute on landline and 3p per minute to UK mobile phones.
Do you port in mobile numbers from other countries?
Not at this time but we are looking at this option and hope to offer it soon.
Can I port out my mobile number to another provider in future?
