Using the Cisco SPA 500 desk phone range you can transfer calls as follows using 2 different types of transfers:  


1. Attended Transfer - call the person to whom you are transferring the call and speak to them before transferring the call.


2. Blind Transfer - transfer the call without speaking to the other party to whom you are transferring the call to. 



To perform an Attended Transfer please do the following:


1. During an active call, press the xfer softkey button (soft key buttons are shown above in red).  The call is placed on hold and a new line is opened to dial the number.


2. Enter the number to which you want to transfer the call, then press the dial softkey button or wait a few seconds.


3. Press the xfer softkey button after the phone begins to ring, or at any time after the phone is answered to complete the call transfer. 


To perform a Blind Transfer please do the following


1. During an active call, press the bXfer softkey.


2. Enter the number to where you want to transfer the call. The call is transferred with no further action required on your part.
