WARNING If you plan to change the format of a Custom Field for instance from a text area to a drop down option or other format then please be aware that you will lose any information previously captured in the text.
It will be your responsibility to make this decision and we cannot be liable if you do this without assistance.
Also please be very careful before making any changes to Custom Fields as if a field is linked to a report it will create an issue with the report.
