For some issues with a Yealink desk phone we may need to run SIP Trace on the phone. To do this please follow the instructions below:
1. Find the IP address on your Yealink Desk phone - click here to see how to find this.
2. Enter the IP address of the phone into your web browser.
3. At the Yealink login page enter ‘admin’ for username and the last 6 digits of the phone’s MAC address for the password.
4. When logged in go to ‘Settings’ – then to ‘Configuration’.
5. Press the ‘Start’ button mid-way down the page.
6. Replicate the issue (make a call that doesn’t have any audio etc).
7. Press the ‘Stop’ button
8. Press the ‘Export’ button next to the ‘Export all diagnostic file’
9. Save the exported file and send it over to us by email.
From the exported file, we should be able to the key information in troubleshooting this issue.
