Outlook has spam filters that spam score any emails received by looking at:
- Subject line
- Senders email address
- Email content
If you receive an email into your Spam folder which should have landed in your inbox you can do the following to ensure that the email is sent to your inbox in the future:
Outlook 2003 - 2007
- Open a message from the desired sender.
- Go to the Actions option in the top tool bar.
- Select Junk E-mail from the drop down menu.
- Select the Add Sender to Safe Senders List option.
Outlook 2000 / Outlook 11
- Open a message from the desired sender
- In the From field, right-click the email address
- Click the Add to Contacts link in the menu
- Click the OK button
- Open a message from the desired sender
- In the From field, right-click the email address
- Click the Add to Address Book link in the menu
- Click the OK button
Outlook 2010
1. Select the email from the desired sender
2. Right mouse click
3. Select Junk and then select 'Not Junk'
4. A mark as not junk email window will appear click OK
5. The email will now go directly to your inbox in future.
